Oriental Marinated Chicken Wings are delicious both grilled or barbecued. The combination of the different spices really livens up the flavour of the chicken, adding an Oriental twist to a popular American-style dish.
9 chicken wings
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp clear honey
2 tsp Go Spice Blend
Score the chicken wings three or four times with a sharp knife. Combine the soy sauce, honey and Go Spice Blend in a bowl and whisk together. Reserve about a third of the marinade for basting later on. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and coat well. Cover and marinate in the fridge for 6 to 24 hours, turning occasionally.
Preheat the grill, drain the wings and open them wide, then place onto a wire rack. Grill on a low-medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, until cooked. Baste and turn them a couple of times. Alternatively, they could be barbecued. Serve hot or cold.
